In our residential care homes, you or your loved one will be provided with board and care, supportive services, personal assistance and round-the-clock staff who help maintain a quality life for every resident. To us, a quality life means never having to give up companionship, hobbies, physical fitness, and all of the little things that make one’s life unique.

For those who need personal assistance in their daily living activities, but wish to remain in their own homes, we provide non-medical home health care, licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Our team will meet with you to discuss you or your loved one’s specific care needs and assign a professional caregiver come to your home and provide supportive services to make life at home possible when it might not otherwise be.

In our home and in our client’s homes, we provide personalized care, tailored to the specific needs of everyone we care for.

Our Mission at Almost Home Senior Care?

Simply put, our mission is to provide an environment that maintains the comfort of life at home, whether it is in our residential care home or our client’s own homes. We want to give our elderly the opportunity to live in a place where AHSC‘s caregivers feel like a friend who is there for companionship every bit as much as they are there as a helping hand for meeting the day-to-day care needs of others.

AHSC was born when my own mother came to a point in her life where her personal needs didn’t quite fit into the mold of the current senior services available in our area. She needed help with small tasks that are sometimes taken for granted like meal preparation, medication reminders, and housekeeping, but was not at a point in her life where she needed a nursing home.
